The Republic of San Marino has been officially included in the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) list of Parties to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, recognizing its full compliance with the Convention’s requirements.
The inclusion, published under IMO Circular MSC.1/Circ.1163/Rev.14, marks a significant milestone in San Marino’s maritime development and highlights its commitment to maintaining high standards in seafarer training, certification, and watchkeeping.
This international recognition enhances confidence in certificates issued under the authority of the Republic of San Marino and further strengthens its position as a reliable and responsible flag State within the global maritime community.
